Hand made with care in China by our trusted manufacturer, from high quality 19 momme 6A grade mulberry silk.  The band and ties are made from soft knit fabric.

This silk is also OEKO TEX standard 100.  This means the fabric has been independently tested and the dyes used in the production of the fabric are safe and non toxic.

Cold hand wash only with minimal detergent.  Do not wring.  Lay flat to dry.

The benefits of silk:

Wrapping hair in silk is a great way to prevent it going frizzy overnight. This is especially helpful for people with curly or textured hair and helps preserve braids and blow dried hair.

The natural properties of silk, including its smooth surface, can help reduce friction on your hair which often causes damage, like split ends.

It’s naturally hypoallergenic. Silk has a natural resistance to dust mites and other allergens.

Silk doesn’t strip the moisture out of your hair the way cotton does. Cotton is more porous than silk, which absorbs moisture from your hair.

So worth it

I purchased 2 silk bonnets to see how they would help my hair after doing so reading up about silk and hair health.
After a couple of weeks my hair is easier to manage, nearly entirely knot free when I brush it out in the morning and my hair health has visibly improved - stronger, silkier and a lot less breakage.
Not to mention sleeping is far more comfortable with everything contained and out of my face. I'm never going back to sleeping with my hair any other way and the bonnets are such high quality, comfy, spacious and stays on well over night.

If you have long/thick hair and are looking to improve your hair health this is 100% for you.

Soft and spacious

Love how soft the materials are and it stays on well overnight. Lots of space to clip the hair in place or let it flow.
My first bonnet and have been comfortably sleeping in it every night since, I absolutely love it!

Best bonnet so far

I’m a bit of a Splash Happy fan. I have long and hard to manage curly hair so I’ve been interested in trying out Sarah’s bonnet collection. So far, this is my favourite. It holds all my hair in well, is very comfortable, there’s minimal slippage overnight and I like its dramatic look! I feel a bit Jane Austen in this, and it does the job really well, keeping my hair looking as good as it can. ❤️
